Rescue Kittens Get Global Attention

The November 2017 Men With Cats Calendar Cat Guy is Joel Senick, reporter for Global Saskatoon.

The November 2017 Men With Cats Calendar Cat Guy is Joel Senick, reporter for Global Saskatoon.

Being a reporter requires you to be quick on your feet, nimble and not afraid to be on camera… much like our kitten models!  Our November 2017 Men with Cats Calendar Guy is Joel Senick, reporter with Global. We caught up with Joel to find out why he wanted to get involved with the Men With Cats Calendar and here is what he had to say.  “As a reporter who often works outdoor I can tell you Saskatchewan weather can be cruel! This is why it’s so important to offer your homes to foster the little ones who have no defence.  It’s an easy way to help out on a temporary basis.”  We would like to thank Joel for participating in the MWC calendar.

Who is that cat!?

Tatsu (black) and Takara came to SCAT at just 3 days, they were taken in to foster care and bottle fed until they were able to eat on their own.  These two had some ups and downs along the way but are now happy and healthy.  Having been bottle fed has made these two expert cuddlers.

We would like to thank Joel for participating in the MWC Calendar fundraiser.  We would like to thank Erin McFarland from High Four Pet Photography for lending her photographic talents, as well as Rory Michael Lawford for his creative Graphic Design on the calendar layout and design.
