Working in a mine is serious business where the importance of safety and security is paramount.  Safety and security is equally important to Street Cat Rescue when placing an animal into a forever home.

Our July 2017 Men with Cats Calendar Guy is Jason Belanger, Chief Mine Maintenance Engineer at Potash Corp.  We caught up with Jason for a quick chat to find out why he wanted to get involved with the Men With Cats Calendar.  “Even though I am not a cat owner, I am a cat lover and want to play a part in helping them finding their forever homes,” said Jason.

This is another great example of how giving to a great cause, like Street Cat Rescue, can be done in so many different ways.

Who is that cat!?

Janny (black and white) is a sweet little girl who can always be found with her sister J Lo, either playing or curled up napping together.  Leaving their brothers Jester (black kitten on the stool) and Jessop to wrestle and play for hours.  Sansa came to the foster home as a solo kitten but fit in right away, napping with the girls or playing with the boys, but her favorite seemed to be snuggling with her foster people.

We would like to thank Jason Belanger for participating in the MWC Calendar fundraiser.  We would like to thank Erin McFarland from High Four Pet Photography for lending her photographic talents, as well as Rory Michael Lawford for his creative Graphic Design on the calendar layout and design.

The 2017 Men With Cats Calendars are now sold out!  We would like to thank all of our loyal clients for their purchase and support.  All proceeds go to supporting the work of SCAT Street Cat Rescue.
